i think so with the pitching of John lackey, jared weaver, Ervin "magic" Santana. and K-Rod as the closer we can do it. I think Vlad and tori hunter will step it up big time. what yall think?
Good season so far for the halos. They just need to step up in the post-season! We need OFFENSE! Vlad needs to step up, Figgins, GA. Don't know what happend to Gary Matthews Jr... Angels World Series Champs 2008

They have a scary pitching staff fsho but they don't have the offense to get things done to win games

Angels don't really get that much love from anywhere else. They do have the BEST record right now, but all they don't talk much about the Angels. Except K-rod from time to time. Lets see if the GM makes a trade before the deadline.

They need to re-sign K-Rod after this season. He's asking for a ridiculous amount of money (not to say he's not worth it)... but if the Angels make the decision not to re-sign him, they might trade him before the deadline next week. It's unlikely.. but it could happen.
i never thought about that but i was hearing he wants a lot of money and that hes not willing to talk with the angels after this season, i say trade him and move arredondo to the closer

Yea, I afraid too that we wont have K-rod back and see him in a yankee uniform. He'll be asking about 15mill+ and could the Angels really afford that? He pitches what? one inning..
Anyways, what happened to the game today? Angels vs Orioles. I couldn't find the game on TV and was guessing it was not televised.

We are rolling right now though. It's awesome! Best record in baseball, best road record, best & biggest lead in a division by far, & the best closer in baseball. Here's to more kicking arse!!

It was on Ch. 13... I didn't figure it out until i was preoccupied with the Olympic Team scrimmage.
Frankie got #43, though.. after giving up a jack.
Crazy.

There not going to trade K-Rod before the trade deadline at all. Not even a possibility. They have what it takes to get to the world series again and getting rid of your closer midseason, isn't going to help secure one. They need to re-sign K-Rod after this season. He's asking for a ridiculous amount of money (not to say he's not worth it)... but if the Angels make the decision not to re-sign him, they might trade him before the deadline next week. What makes you believe the Yankees will beat the Angels? It's not even a sure thing that they make the playoffs. I would be more concerened about making the playoffs than beating the Angels in the playoffsthank you there is another Yankee fan beside me were making the playoffs this year now were 3 games behind Boston it's over once Yankees are in expect title number 27 to belong to the Yankees
