Here's a list of the 2009 Oscar noms... what do you think? who got snubbed? who will win?

http://movies.aol.co...d_award_shows.M

i personally am SOO upset that Leo DiCaprio got snubbed (once again) for his role in Revolutionary Road. If anyone saw this, they know what an incredible performance he put on. Wow. The Academy truly doesn't like him. UGH!!!!!

Heath will win best supporting actor for sure.

In fact, I'd be shocked if the Dark Knight lost anything.
Kurt Cobain - "Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are."

of course they skip over nolan for director AND the dark knight for best movie.....

Instead, the academy chose to honor a Holocaust clunker like "The Reader," a bloated retread of "Forrest Gump" like "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," and a cliched biopic like "Milk" with best picture nominations.

And the academy wonders why people care less and less about the Oscars every year.

i actually just saw slumdog millionaire today and it truly is a great story. something really new for audiences to watch and experience the lives of three extraordinary people. a great mixture of tragedy, humor, and romance.
i wouldnt be surprised if it won, best picture.

I didn't think about it but your Right if Dark Knight or Valkyre was nominated more people would watch for the star power. No Clint. Get off my lawn!

If he doesn't win I'm going to be very surprised. The other nominees must feel bad being in the same category as Heath...

And Leo not being nominated also pisses me off.

"LOWEST RATED OSCAR TELECAST IN HISTORY?: Snubs of The Dark Knight, Clint Eastwood and Bruce Springsteen point toward a new ratings nadir for the Oscar show; The five Best Picture nominees have combined to gross only $186M, about what TDK delivered in first 4 days!"

"Yes, I think The Dark Knight should be a Best Picture nominee. It is absolutely one of my five favorite movies of 2008, and I believe that one of the reasons Christopher Nolan's comic book sequel soared past $500M US is that it struck a very real cultural cord with audiences."

"There was talk that this comic book adaption was too dark, but it is actually a relentlessly optimistic movie. What Heath Ledger's Joker character demonstrates is that, even when the world is in shambles and people are faced with impossibly difficult choices, they do the right thing. The message of TDK is that regular people, at their core, are good. We need more movies like that right now."

The Curious Case For Benjamin Button, FTW!!

and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."
