Championship. But his individual achievement is my little bias jealousy for him to do it. For the heck of it.

Nobody will ever score 100 points, ever again, so I don't need Kobe to do that.

Championships make the player, 30 years from now. Kobe already has an 81-point game.

If you're a HUGE Kobe Bryant fan, you want him to be the clear-cut leader of a championship team. No other options.

championships happen every season... in fact kobe's gotten to the finals 5 times and won 3 times... how many time has anyone scored 101?

0.

When we look back, I think 4 championships, 2 mvps, and one 101 point game is a better package than, 5 championships and 1 mvp.

Despite all that, I think I'd still prefer championship... hmm...

Why do you guys pick championship?

Doesn't it make you feel good seeing Kobe succeed, if all of these happened, he could be finally considered better then MJ,

What's so special about a championship anyways, I know that's what the purpose of this whole season/league is but it's just eliminating an opponent in the finals then it's over.

give me a break.

i can't speak for everyone else, but i live and die with this team. i was a fan before kobe was a laker, and i'll be one after he's a laker. sure, he's the best player in the league... fine, but my relationship with the lakers is far deeper than any one player. the goal is win a championship. period.

Of course Kobe scoring 101 and winning MVP/DPOY. It's all about Kobe. [expletive] the team.

How about if that 101-point game comes with a 73-win season by the Lakers, and an NBA Finals loss to the Cavaliers?

EDIT: And a first-round loss for the Celtics, against the Bulls, with both Rose and Deng injured?

I would hate that even more, we'd have the biggest expectations ever and Kobe and the Lakers would be the biggest chokers of all time. I would literally cry my balls off, and start lactating from the breasts.

yea that would be ABSOLUTE TORTURE.

that would be just like going on a date with a victoria's secret super model who turns out to be JUST your type, and she TOTALLY has the hots for you... she laughs at all your jokes, tells you that you're the hottest guy ever, and that she really respects you blah blah... then she whispers in your ear at the dinner table that she REALLY wants to jump your juggernauts RIGHT NOW... so you run to your car with her, and RIGHT before you get to your house, you get hit by a semi on the passenger side... and she dies. Luckily you're only left with 2 broken arms, severed left leg, and blindness.

Yea... that's ALMOST as bad as Lakers losing in the finals after winning 73 games with 101 point game by Kobe... ALMOST...

This thread is starting to become a fantasy thread...

I still think 81 wasn't possible, no one has hit the 70 mark during this era anyway.

Someone else just has to make it to the 90 mark and we have 1 at least for every 10 up to 100.

You want the truthful answer?

We are Laker fans. Not Kobe fans.

If Kobe were traded today, many would follow, but the ones who bleed purple and gold, will continue to cheer for the Lakers.

Are you questioning the purpose of an NBA ring?

"If Kobe were traded today, many would follow, but the ones who bleed purple and gold, will continue to cheer for the Lakers. "

true...but im sure most would be disapointed as hell....

but the lakers are a succesful franchize for a reason....(no i dont mean kobe)

i mean the people in charge of the lakers....and i dont see that changing...

L.A dosent go without great players for too long...

i want KOBE to get another chanpionship with the LAKERS....

sure the team means more....but kobe is the catalyst of our teams success and has been for years....

i believe kobe should show la and the fans some loyalty...and we should show him some loyalty

BTW kobe better not ever ask to get traded again....
