Plugged-in sources say that Riley wants to see how O'Neal, who only returned to the Raptors' lineup Friday, holds up physically in a handful of games before taking the discussions any further. And as stated above, sources indicate that there are other teams in contention for Marion, most notably Dallas in a trade that would feature Josh Howard going to Miami for Marion

JO, Marion, and Howard have been mentioned in so many trade talks. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3 team trade.

Jermaine O'Neal in Miami would work really well - as would Marion in Toronto.

jo in dallas or miami would be great, marion in toronto would be very good, and even dallas...remember J-kidd is still a top 5 pg in this league (passing)
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

I think it's a smart idea for both Dallas and Toronto if they can pull it off. Dallas is in need of a legit Center who can rebound and cause attention in the paint while Dirk works around the perimeter. Toronto is looking for a star SF so that they can slide Bargnani to Center and take some pressure off Bosh at PF.

Where in that article does it say Jermaine O'Neal for Josh Howard? Everything in that link provided talks about Marion going for either Jermaine O'Neal or Josh Howard. Nothing to do with Dallas and Toronto in talks with each other.

The title is quite misleading. I still think it's something Dallas should look into, but in my opinion, Trading Marion for Howard isn't something that can make a huge impact on your team and could be bad for either team.
