there must be a reason guys like kobe and MJ always settle for jumpers in big situations

you drive in there is traffic and the refs allow more contact

a jumper is safer and when you have a mid range jumper like kobe or MJ its probably the best course of action

I'm not talking about the end of the game I'm talking about in general.

Use FACTS to back up your claim. For somebody that drives way less than Lebron, he gets less than 2 fewer FT attempts. You drive more, you get more.

Your claims are just coming from a biased fan who will see that we should get every call. In reality, Kobe's being treated fine.

Why isn't the other claim out of possibility, considering Kobe's arguably the best player on the planet and has a killer instinct, possesses all the necessary skills and just "settles" for jumpshots for a reason? Yea he does take his fare share of "F it! 3s or Js" but not when game's on the line.

You want stats? how bout the league MVP getting only 11 free throws against the Spurs in the 5 game playoff series last year. 3 of them coming on technicals and 2 of them coming on intentional fouls.

in this thread it was said that the refs not calling fouls leading to no driving to the hoop was a weak excuse

i agreed but watching lebron tonight and kobe they were getting no calls and stopped going to the hoop

when lebron started getting calls he started going to the hoop

i now think that the refereeing has something to do with it

Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

I'm surprised there's been so many bites on such an obvious baiting post.
