Damn, this really does look like happening.

Going to love having Kaka in the EPL, but Man City's spending makes it hard for the rest of us.

More than 290 million dollars for a single person, a single player makes me feel sick.

I don't think Man City will go over £100M (115M Euros I think, $150M).

But yeah, way too much on one person.

It would be nice to see Kaka joining forces with Martin Petrov and Valeri Bojinov :) I think he'll find it hard to adjust to english style of football though...

P.S. If they really give 100 mil euro that will be the highest transfer fee ever. The current record is 45.62 Euro paid for Zidane in 2001 by Real Madrid

P.S.2 Man City have been looking for after a big transfer for quite some time. I remember they were after Berbatov last year, offering more money than Man Utd. I think the Man City owner said once that he has plans to make Man City the greatest team in the world....

If anyone was going to find it hard to adjust to the English style, it was Robinho.

Kaka's style of play will fit in perfectly IMO.

IMO playing in Italy will have toughen him up enough.

Plus, at Manchester City he will play at striker, which means he won't need all the physicality.

Milan should've kept Kaka rather than sign Beckham IMO ....

IMO, yes , Kaka is better than Beckham. The only thing is that everybody has their price, and for £100M any player can be bought.

Kaka said in perfect English on English TV that he wanted to move to England. Man City must have pulled out for this deal not to work IMO.

In sports spanish newspaper said kaka will stand in Milan. They said is possible he is wainting to go Real Madrid next year ( with CR9?)...I dont know, the spanish sports newspapers are too sensacionalist but I belive when you are a billionare (like kaka) the money is not so important, I think he want to win Cups, RM, Barcelona, Chelsea, M.U, ..Hercules de Alicante..jaja?

Ronaldo wasnt today in MC tranining. Its possible he is cross because Kaka stand in Milan?....

Real Madrid or Chelsea are his only possible destinations IMO.

He'll make the move to either of the two in the next year, but he wants to end his career playing for a Brazilian team.

Man City representative talking:

He said that AC Milan had "bottled it".

We thought the commericals had been agreed with Milan, but yesterday it appeared they weren't (sounds like they wanted more money)

We never even talked to Kaka.

We had talked to his father who indicated Kaka was very interested.

We wanted him as some kind of ambassador for environmental issues (?)

He blames AC Milan for breaking the agreement ona press blackout.
