Sam Smith, of Bulls.com and formerly the Chicago Tribune, recently talked about the possibilty of a blockbuster seven-player trade that would sent Steve Nash to Toronto.

In Smith's deal the Suns would trade Nash, Leandro Barbosa, and Robin Lopez for Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani, Anthony Parker, Jason Kapono, and maybe even Jamario Moon as cap filler.

Kyle Odegard of the East Valley Tribune doesn't believe the rumor has much weight, however.

Why the hell would Toronto trade away the two best assets?

Wow, that's a ripoff for the Raptors. Nash is good but old. Barg is finally heating up since they moved him to Center.

I mean, Phoenix does lose Nash and Barbosa, but get Bargnani AND Calderon AND Parker?

I guess its a sell high for Barg

But if this happened it would give Suns a much better shot at beating a team like the spurs.
