i stole this off of the hoopshype forum, what do you guys think?

this might be the 1st time in awhile that kobe doesnt make the all nba 1st team. the way it looks now guards should be paul n wade. if somehow kobe still gets in, then its official. all nba team selection is a popularity contest.

i personally dont really care but there are a lot of people saying CP3 and wade are gonna be the guards

Kobe's team record and personal shooting %'s are better than both Paul and Wade.

Add in his defense and he is definitely first team this year.

The Heat won't finish anywhere near the Lakers in the standings, so the chances of Wade getting the nod instead of Kobe are slim.

i don't see how kobe if healthy all season doesn't get it

the 1st team all NBA either has players who are producing ridiculous stats or ridiculous wins

wade is doing neither

kobe, lebron, paul, dwight have the stats as well as the wins i predict if all teams are healthy

chris paul
kobe bryant
lebron james
tim duncan
dwight howard

This is actually something to think about considering Wade is having himself an MVP type season....Chris Paul most likely will be on he first team, while the second guard spot obviously would go to either Kobe or Wade...That's actually a tough call...

At this point of the season I'd say Kobe will make the first team based on the "grandfather rule"...but what if Wade happens to win the MVP....do you leave him of the first squad? I wouldn't think so.
