My goodness... In one of the interviews.. He said his team is best being offensive.. awww...

If that's the case.. No title sorry! No defense, no rebounding, no ring!

He can change the philosophy of this team. He just doesn't do it. If he stresses defense to this bunch of guys, they will hold opponents to 90 ppg.

Yeah, sure.... we play a fast pace.. but that's not an excuse for yielding too many inside points off dunks and layups.

My goodness... I hope when everyone's healthy, we get through this..

The 2001 Lakers didn't play that much defense in the regular season, so as the Miami Heat in 2006. But those teams stepped it up a notch in the playoffs and that brought them on top.

I'm still hoping and praying we can be a very good and effective defensive team, if not dominant as the '08 Celtics and '04 Pistons.

I'm a defense fiend. I've covered basketball games and has been a fan of the game more than a decade, and I tell you: Defense is truly important.

yep, you know more than Phil on winning
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
