ya, but Sasha was still playing good defense.

I don't think he would have made much of a difference, especially since we'd still have left other shooters wide open. We NEED a PG that can play defense, Fisher cannot hold the fort down for us, Jameer Nelson destroyed him. Absolutely destroyed him.

Sasha can play defense. he played only 13 minutes tonight and its his first game back from being injured, so of corse hes not going to have a career night. hes probably scared about re hurting his back again too.

it was just a bad game over all.

the reason why phil didn't put ariza on nelson after 2 straight big 3s is beyond me

length and arizas quickness nullifies jameer's game

No problem. Lakers will pull off the win for you. I predicted it 9 days ago.

yes ur absolutely right, trevor should have been on nelson, kobe on hedo, fish on lee or wuteva, trev rlly locked down parker last game and i thought they would do the same, and im ashamed that phil didnt play powell, we might have not gotten outrebounded so bad as we did, and sum idiot on espn boards said we should fire phil lmfao.

Fisher has been [expletive]ing up lately. Damn we need a backup PG quickly because it seems like fatigue is kicking in. He's getting blown by everybody. Even Anthony [expletive]ing Johnson dunked oh his [expletive] after beating him after the first step. Last two losses might as well be blamed on Fisher...no call foul on Miami as well could have ended up bad. He fouled Mason and now Nelson lit his [expletive] up tonight.

We need someone who can stay in front of a PG, and we have that guy in Trevor Ariza, but Phil is too dense to realize it at the moment. 31-8 looks good, but all the losses are eerily similar, and teams are starting to find our weakness; perimeter D. We have to correct it soon, or else we'll get torn up for a stretch like the Celtics did.

we need to seeing that cavs vs. hornets game, they lit the hornets up from behind the arc. hope we'll have the following matchups:

bynum v wallace/varejao
gasol v wallace/varejao
kobe v lebron
ariza v mo will
fish v pavlovic/szerbiak- i know fish is short for these guys, but all these 2 do is camp the 3.

I'm worried about our perimeter D and our lack of help D when someone penetrates into the paint. There's no doubt that we can outscore the Cavs, but how can we keep them from scoring if we don't play defense? Defense will decide that game. On paper, we should be able to whup them as all matchups are in our favor with Kobe vs. LeBron being even. But, we'll just have to see. Hopefully Nostradamus (Base) is correct with his prediction; we get a W.

Fisher should be coming off the bench we need to trade for a starting pg.

like sum1 else said, we needa pick up joe crawford, or a veteran but quick pg, that can defend. How hard is it to keep sum1 in front of u? i mean i play ball alot, and im not that good of a defender but i know that all you have to do is give the guy a bit of room and move your feet, force them to shoot a jump shot and when you see him elevating put ur arms up.
