The man was on fire tonight. Props to Kobe for leading the comeback. Shame that it had to end in a poor fashion

this is big coming from me. the greatness of Kob came out again tonight. I honestly think he's cementing himself as the best player of his time.

Also, props to all our other players as well. They all had solid games (well except for Radman) and especially Pau who just couldn't seem to miss. Also Josh Powell made some pretty clutch shots to help us regain the lead. Overall, the Lakers played pretty good.

he was also not credited for a couple of assists to Gasol early in the game, i called it in the gameday thread after looking at the play by play

Yea I didn't like that he was taken out during the comeback when he was still hot.

But wow. Kobe Kobe Kobe Kobe Kobe... incredible. I nearly died when he made that 3, then I actually passed away when Mason made his shot.

I love it when Kobe looks for his teammates. Look at how much more efficient his FG% is when he doesn't chuck the ball, and plays team basketball. All of the shots he took were good shots. Few fadeaway bullcrap aside from the one 3pter to beat the 24 sec clock.

This year is even a better year than last year for Kobe. He is playing more between the ears than ever. One problem I see is that he is getting stripped or committing turnovers that lead to scores for the other team. That happened 3x last night. He needs to tighten that up.

He has to run back on D every time after that too, not look at the ref or just stand there.

this isnt appreciation, its apprecihatin'. But Kobe, unlike Lebron, only cares about winning, not his fg%
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Chucking up 32 shots in a game when you have great teammates around you doesn't exactly correlate with winning.

When Kobe dishes 8-10 assists in a game, that's when our offense flows so much better. Not when he's shooting fadeaway 19 footers.
