Bad call,
but the foul on Fish was legit.

how is a slight brush a foul while a full mugging and trip not a foul?

yeah, no question, that WAS a foul on Fish.

i just don't get how it's also not a foul at the other end.

Lakers didn't close any quarter right.. which sucked

Pathetic considering they called that call for Mason.

But life goes on, it's not like I'm super disappointed. The Lakers are still better than the Spurs and I feel confident going into a playoff series vs them. They are tough though, no doubt. Ton of respect here.

If we lose a game on a no call, so be it. We see them two more times.

This is without Walton/Farmar too. Lakers played tough and overcame an 11 point deficit which I didn't think they would be able to do. Tough loss, but still, let's focus on the next game and take care of business.

no way it was a travel. Even though it was a block, i doubt the refs would have called it, especially with a couple of secs on the clock. Call or no call, we still could of won, but that call was just horrible.

Kobe was doubled on the wing, passed it to Ariza at the top, Ariza dribbled into the lane, Manu shoved and tripped him caused him to stagger while Ariza put up a shot, Ariza called for travel

Yes, bad call at the end. If you had bet on the Lakers, you would have won. Spurs were supposed to defend there home court. Don't see the Spurs beating us when we're at full strength.

This loss sucks because we earned the victory, but lost on a fluke.

But at the same time, I feel good about how we played. The team rallied through a lot of adversity, shorthanded and had the lead near the end.

We're going to be happy we had these battles come playoff time. Our bench is getting valuable experience because of the injuries and they will be better prepared when we really need them.

meh, we've lost 7 games

it's a shame really, the only thing this Lakers team hasn't done (going back to last season) is go on a nice long winning streak.

always lose one every 5-9 games

You know what was pathetic? Our defense until the last quarter.

We gave up 30+ points in each of the first 3 quarters.

On a happier note, Josh Powell was HUGE for us during that stretch. We definitely need to find more minutes for him. Oh, and Phil needs to stop putting him on wing players, he's a friggin' PF.

Andrew did an excellent job guarding Duncan. Duncan scored 20 pts but needed 19 FGA to get there. The rebounding is just perplexing though.

Pau was great as well.

We're just not playing good defense as a unit.
