if you ask 10 people in the streets in your city whether in LA or not prolly half or more say they hate either kobe or lakers....obviously in la more people love them....but yet they always win the NBA fan night thing and they are always the team every other city sells out there tickets to come see them play....why??

the nba would be [expletive] w/out us. it needs us.

yeah boston has more rings.. but you can't tell me they've been winning throughout their history more consistently than us.

they won the majority of their rings all back to back with bill russell kinda like the john wooden days thing too, not to take too much away from either, but everyone and their mother knows the competition back then and overall athleticism and size wasn't nearly what it is today. they just happened to be lucky as hell to have gotten that man in an era where the rest of the competition was at such a huge disadvantage.. in other words where the talent level discrepancy was at an all time high. do i sound bitter? a bit probably, but i still feel i make solid points. cs hadn't done [expletive] for the longest time until last season.. could you say the same about us? i think not. heck, we've even GOTTEN' to much more finals apperances than they have, just unfortunately, we have not capitalized as much, but my point is, yes they have more rings, mostly in a low competition era, but we have been the most consistent winningest team in the history of the nba.

It's true when i was in elementary and middle school most people were Bulls and Magic bandwagon fans due to MJ and Penny. I got into alot of debates at an young defending the Lakers. Most people turned into Laker fans during the 3 peat.

I'm thinking of starting a petition for a rule that you need a certain amount of posts to create threads. Who's with me?

Sadly their are millions of Laker haters in Los Angeles.

It's bad enough that when you travel anywhere around the nation "Laker Hater Nation" is heavy.

Everyone who hates on the Lakers are jealous of us.

Let them hate because thats all they could do is hate as will eliminate any team in a 7 game series!!!!!!!
