I wonder if we would be having this discussion if it were Kobe they were talking about like that.

This doesn't belong in NBA talk either. More like the "garbage pit".

Sorry to break it to you, but LeBron is currently playing the best so far this season. Now you can blame it on the fact that Kobe has tons of help, and that he's only in 2nd gear right now, but LeBron is playing great, and so is D-Wade.

Frankly, there's no reason to really care unless you are jealous of all the attention he's getting instead of Kobe. For some reason, Kobe fans take the attention that Kobe ISN'T getting as some sort of insult.

the funny thing is they care about it more than kobe or lebron do

neither of them probably even thinks twice about any of it

I wonder if we would be having this discussion if it were Kobe they were talking about like that.

why are you wondering?

Let's be real. That kind of thing would never even happen in the first place. Pretty much impossible. At least to the level of El BJ.

It gets kind of annoying. I've noticed that Kobe fans have some sort of level of attention that Kobe should be getting. When the media, or ESPN in this case, doesn't give him that amount of attention, they view it as a personal attack against Kobe, and they go nuts. And that also includes when Kobe has to share the spotlight. Whenever people give props to Pau for a great game, a Kobe fan will always chime in with a "oh well it's because Kobe was there that he had such a great game". It's getting ridiculous.

I'm saying that if ESPN was riding Kobe the way they do LeBron this discussion wouldn't be taking place because no one would have a problem with it.

Well, his game is more comparable to Magic than MJ, and he deserves to be hyped this year... PP on the other hand... :pierce:

Why is this Lakers talk? Why are so many Kobe fans jealous of Lebron?

as a Kobe fan, the only thing I hate is when someone says, Lebron is the best player on the planet and its not even close. Thats just untrue. Kobe, Wade, Cp3, Howard, and a few more are close. But I think they mean the most entertaining in the world, which is very well may be, but clutch wise, I gotta go with Kobe, plus do you guys give points for playing hurt and injured because I do.
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
