Naw, overall a nice season (despite not coming close to the Super Bowl expectations we had coming in).
It was really nice to see this team playing with heard and overcoming all those odds to even make the playoffs after a bad start to the season (full of many heartbreaking losses that could've gone either way). Then they go and beat a great team like Indianapolis.
Changes will have to be made in the offseason. Even if everyone comes in healthy, this same team needs many improvements (pass defense, offensive linemen that can get more protection for Rivers and better blocks for LT, and many other things).
Obviously the main thing will be keeping Sproles. After what he's done when LT went down, he's going to be getting some big offers and it's going to be a very hard decision to make. Will they wanna spend big bucks on Sproles if he's just going to be a back up and kick returner. And then that brings the question whether or not Sproles should even be a back up because LT hasn't played well all year. And if that's the case, what do you do with LT?
I'm a little pessimistic about this offseason though because I don't see many big moves being made and I think Sproles is gonna sign with another team and have a great season (ala Michael Turner)
... And in today's game, Pittsburgh is challenging a possible interception with 2 minutes to go in a blowout game when they'll be getting the ball back soon anyways...

But again, there is Sproles showcasing his speed and good hands as a receiver, finishing with a TD, driving his market value even higher.

:lol:As a Raider fan, I was happy to see the Chargers lose. As much as I don't like the Steelers. I respect them more than the Chargers. At least the Steelers have hardcore fans not like the bandwagon Chargers fans that I have notice in the last 3 weeks. I saw a Charger fan at the bar today wearing a brand new LT jersey and I noticed that the price tag was showing and I went to ask him why is your price tag still on and he told me that in case the Chargers lose against the Steelers, he can still take the jersey back for a refund. Funny story and pathetic at the same time.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. Same thing happen with the Dodgers last year. After they get Manny people all of a sudden where Dodger fans.
As for the game Steelers are the team to beat right now.

Now we gotta go for the trifecta of beating the Ravens and then get that 6th ring.

San Diego is NOT a playoff team. They make too many mistakes against a defense oriented team.
not a playoff team? i could of sworn they were in the playoffs ... plus didnt they beat the colts with assumingly their 2 best guys out?
