Kobe ties/passes Michael Jordan in game winning shots?

that list has 25, but there was another when he was a wizard, so he stands at 26. here's kobe's list -
http://www.dolem.com...ame_winners.htm
that list has 25, not including tonight's shot against the pacers. kobe's list, unlike jordan's, also does not include game winning free-throws. assuming kobe has iced a game with free throws - which i'm pretty sure he has, he has already passed jordan for game winning buckets

First off, it doesn't even include the buzzer beater Kobe made over Jon Barry vs. Nuggets the day after returning from the court... missing a true buzzer beater like that on this list tells me this guy is probably missing at least a few...
Plus he includes "game winning baskets" with more than 24 seconds to go...
NO. SORRY. THAT AIN'T NO BUZZER BEATER.
I think anything with less than 10 seconds is a real game winner... or at least less than 24 seconds because that means there could have been time running out for Kobe to take the shot due to the 24-second clock.
Edit: Found the video of the Denver game winner... http://www.youtube.c...h?v=tX7C4RWhdgo (6:25 mark)

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the USA scrimmage game doesn't count. It was an exhibition game. Didn't mean anything.

I seem to remember in that GM survey, an astounding percentage of them responded that they would want Kobe Bryant taking the last shot over anyone else in the league.

What do you mean no question about it? This is one subject people could debate about for hours, especially in a barbershop. No question about it, Kobe is the best clutch performer in the history of the game. I agree this list might not be comprehensive, but he does have a ton of game-winning & buzzer beating shots.
I seem to remember in that GM survey, an astounding percentage of them responded that they would want Kobe Bryant taking the last shot over anyone else in the league.

I don't think Kobe is the most clutch player in the history of the game, but I do think that he is the most clutch player in the league today. And, like Heir mentioned, this is a subject that could be debated for a LONG time with no clear answer/winner.
in terms of all time there is no correct answer
peoples knee jerk reaction is MJ but in terms of clutch i challenge anyone to make a legitimate case against reggie miller or jerry west
MJ IMO is based on some of his playoff performances and i consider clutch to be sometimes whole performances rather than single shots but i feel
kobe
MJ
jerry west
reggie miller
larry bird
all deserve to be in the discussion
and in 5 or 6 years im sure lebron james will have put himself in the discussion
there is no clear cut answer and if you claim there is you are just spewing crap
