The injuries keep happening and happening. D-Fish, like Kobe, will play through it. Heart above health.
L.A. Times: Lakers guard Derek Fisher has sustained a partial tear of a tendon in his right foot, an injury that typically requires six to eight weeks of rest, but he will try to play through it.
Fisher was injured while trying to push off the foot in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game against Charlotte.
“If this happened during the middle of the season or something like that, he would probably rest for six to eight weeks in order to heal,” Lakers spokesman John Black said. “It’s a pain and inflammation thing. If he can play, he’ll be on anti-inflammatory and pain medication and try to play through it.”
