The Cavs and Brian Shaw talked but no offer made, maybe they want Byron Scott more.

ESPN: Los Angeles Lakers assistant Brian Shaw completed two days of meetings with the Cavs, who have not yet offered him — or anyone else — a contract to replace Mike Brown as their coach, a person familiar with Cleveland’s search told The Associated Press.

A source close to the situation told ESPN The Magazine’s Ric Bucher that the Cavs will decide between Shaw and former Hornets coach Byron Scott and that Cleveland will decide between the two by the end of this week.

What the hell is going on?

Looks like Phil Jackson may be staying for one more year if Cavs take Shaw away from us.

Byron Scott could be an option, but a bad one that is.

If Shaw goes there, they should bring Scott in as a 1 year assistant coach. He could then transition to head coach more smoothly.
