Marcus Camby talks about the Lakers and the re-match in his NBA blog…

NBA.com: Coming out of halftime when we’ve had leads, especially at home, we’ve been able to push the lead to double digits and sometimes 20 points. It’s been evident because a lot of us starters, we don’t even play in the fourth quarter, which is always good to get a lot of rest. But, when playing the Lakers, the No. 1 and No. 2 option is always to stop Kobe Bryant. He’s probably the best player we have in this league, and they still have Lamar Odom who is capable of being a great player and Andrew Bynum is coming into his own, so we are going to have our hands full with their full roster.

    Respect.

  • MILO

They were laughing when the Lakers wanted to trade Kwame for Camby.Who’s laughing now mutha-fu-ck-ers!You know they say that god is among us here on earth and i agree it’s Kobe Bryant…Sorry Jesus!!!

Thank god we have Kobe tonight.
Without him, Lakers will be disposable team for many years to come.

Damn, FO bring quality veterans and this team will be a contender.

    We killeddd today

  • Rpoc

AI made the entire Lakers’ point guard rotation his biatches.

Good thing we have Ariza and Kobe at the defensive end. Props to Bynum too for that block. Mihm would have sent that punk Melo the line and Kwame wouldn’t have jumped.

    Kobe was the savior..
    good game

  • gugy

I like LO for his heart, specially last season playoffs. But unfortunately, it is his time to go. We need to acquire quality player and get rid of him.

Send LO, Sasha, Mihn and Kwame away please. We can do just as well without them.

    Kobe, Thanks.

Well at least someone can give the Lakers the benefit of the doubt. It just seems that everyone hates the Lakers and Kobe after the whole 2003-2004 season and offseason. But part of sports is jumping on the bandwagon.

  • DoDoBallz

I agree about Odom but he is stepping up and taking more shots I think these next couple of games off are very important especially after a win like that were we kept our composure in a hostile environment thats what makes great teams composure and D.Good Team Win. Go Lakers!!!

Lamar is getting better he just has to keep it consistent
But the ice he is on is thinner than Amy Winehouse keep
it up though Lamar I see you.

Bynum’s block on Carmelo at the end was a FANTASTIC!! He’s starting to be a force in the middle.
