ESPN: Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson said Andrew Bynum will start Game 2 and plans on testing the torn meniscus in the 7-footer’s right knee by playing him longer than the 25 minutes he did in Game 1.

“We’ll see how it goes out there,” Jackson said at the team’s morning shootaround Tuesday. “I hope to play him a few more minutes tonight.”

The Utah Jazz announced Tuesday that forward Andrei Kirilenko, who practiced on Monday for the first time since going out with a strained left calf on March 26, will not play in Game 2.

“We hadn’t planned for him actually,” Jackson said. “We kind of thought it makes sense to have a few extra days and a home court to get out and play on, especially when you’ve been off as long as he’s been off.”
