Bynum turns down USA invite to “rest” body

Andrew is making the right choice. It will be nice to watch LO and KB do work for team USA though!

Twitter: Bynum said he turned down Team USA’s request to be apart of the player pool simply because he needs the summer to rest his body.

Twitter: I asked Bynum abt declining invite for USA Basketball. He said it was easy decision bc of past body breakdowns. “Rest, man.”

    Wow …

That would be so awesome to have all 3 attend USA basketball. But I think when he grows up he’s gonna really learn how important to represent his country.

Unless he’s recovery from surgery over the summer, I don’t see any reason for Andrew Bynum not attend this rare invitation. I do think the team runs a lot and Bynum may not be able to keep up with D’ Antoni’s style. Kobe will be turning 32 over the summer. That’s a guy that deserves rest!

He didn’t even make the All-Star team, at least attend a team better than the All-Star team in joining Team USA and grab a gold metal to add with a Championship ring. I still think Drew still needs to grow up and perhaps we’ll see him in the 2016 olympics …

2016? Get real. Andrew Bynum’s knees will have long-gone by 2016. Without titanium replacement knees like the terminator, he’ll be retired in 2016.
