Bynum Still Hindered By Hip Injury

A small update on Drew’s hip.

NBC Sports: Andrew Bynum’s performance Wednesday night was clearly hindered by the bruise and ruptured bursa sac in his right hip. Bynum looked strong in the first half but slowed down considerably in the second half, pulling down only two points and two boards. Bynum finished the game with only ten points and eleven rebounds. If this continues, the Lakers may decide to sit Bynum.

I’ve bin saying it he needs to rest, give him days off, we’ll be fine.

  • lakershow2010

    sit his bitch ass

  • Gino

if he can’t contribute while hurt, then he needs to sit himself out several more games.

  • asg

This is why thye need to put his butt on the bench. lamar neds to play with Gasol

  • http://www.facebook.com/thejahjah Green Flannel

we can hold it down with out kobe although we’d only have ten players if bynum goes out i think we can handle it without him…okay we CAN handle it but just play him less take him out of the starter rotation let him play against the bench players.

  • asg

We play better with a fisher kobe artest odom gasol line-up anywayz. whenever we got this line-up we take big leads. the twin towers does not work to start games, use it during the game. Seriously i think farmar and/or brown would play more consistent if they let one of them start. i love fisher but its time to play him behind kobe. Let the youngsters play. cuz there is no more bench mob. I am a true laker fan and i am sickof watchin our starting PG going 0-9, 2-13, 3-12, if we dont let farmar start he gonna leave and then its back to the beginning with a old PG and a poormans PG

give me a break… thats it!!.. if its not one thing its another.. he was b*tching about a “respatory” problem, now his hip is still hurt..

the lakers better find a way to turn him and his huge contract into a pg for the present and the future and a servicable big man…

for what he is giving us we can sign haywood, brad miller, kwame, craig smith, drew gooden, jermaine o’neal, shaq, jamal mgloire, udonis haslem, kurt thomas, etan thomas, louis amundson, marcus camby, matt boner, or amir johnson all of which are unristricted free agents next year..

  • Pastorius

I can’t figure out if Bynum is just a slow healer, or a baby. It gets tiring.

How bynum hurt hip traveling, please he”s turning into a bust honestly this dude is to damm delicate

  • drive-for-16th

SIT BYNUM AND FISHER DOWN. FISHER IS HURTING US MORE THAN BYNUM. WE NEED TO SIT FISHERS ASS ON THE BENCH. IM GETTING PISSED OF EVEN JASON KIDD SCHOOLED HIS ASS.

  • asg

i agree wat happened to kirk, nate, hughes, mitch messed up. switch fish and bynum for farmar and LO

  • lex

Are the Lakers not giving Kobe an extention because they are going after Labron?????????????????????????? 2010

    • kobe-wan kenobi

      ahah nope
it is kobe that still did not sign, i think he wants be sure pjax is there next year

  • LAKESHOW420

bynum is such a pussy. HE is 22 years old, this is going to be a major problem in our future, we shouldnt have resigned him since he has not played a full year without getting hurt. Fisher is pathetic on the offensive end, hes great and all but is hurting us way too much by not being able to guard the fast guards (ie, getting harassed by ray allen the other night) and going 3-13 last night. Look at any team around the league, they have a starting point guard that contributes consistently.

  • drive-for-16th

WE SHOULDN’T SIGN FISHER AGAIN, IF WE DO THEN ITS FOR VETERANS MINIMUM, HE GETTING LIKE 5 MILLION RIGHT NOW, SO HE CAN GO TO THE BENCH NEXT SEASON TO GUIDE YOUNG PLAYERS. WE WILL HAVE ALOT OF MONEY THIS SUMMER AFTER AMMO GOES WITH 5.5 MILLION AND VUJACIC CAN BE TRADED IN HIS LAST YEAR WHICH IS 5 MILLION AND FISH 5 MILLION CAN COME TO VETERANS MINIMUM.

  • T-Dub

Should have traded him when they could’ve! Bynum will NEVER be any more than what he is now!

  • Andrew Bynum

Trade me, I am no longer of use. I am a cancer to the Lakers. I will not bring you all a championship this year.

    • lakershow2010

      you’re gay

      • Andrew Bynum

I got these cheeseburgers man, I’ll suck yo dick!!!

    • lakershow2010

        • lakershow2010

oy, what’s with the numbers mate?

    • lex

Don’t come on this Fukkn site asking about Labron. This is the West Coast Hommie KOBE runnz this SHHIITT

  • http://www.facebook.com/thejahjah Green Flannel

lake show the numbers are for when he used to be “a million misses!” and since he is an idiot and cannot count i am helping him count how many times he he says comments that are way off. hence a million misses. so that he knows when he reaches a million and then he can change his name to someone else who doesn’t have a ring.

    hey chuck! how about lebron?

  • tradesasha

that’s like music to my ears…sit the black holes down!! he slows down the team’s offense and clog the middle…i say sit his lazy ass down and start lamar odom!!

  • Marwan Marzina

Ok this is now getting scary. If he sits then Lakers have a 7 player rotation with Lamar starting in place of him and Farmar and Brown getting the majority of the bench minutes (thats if Phil doesnt play Ammo, Mbenga or Powell). Damn it!
Oh well, rather happen in February and March rather than April, May or June.

  • proemb

Can you say “Injury Proned”? Mitch, you will pay long term for failing to trade this guy…
BTW, I keep trying to avoid your work Marwan but you keep following me around! Damn…

  • rondo

All you anti Bynum clowns need to go under a rock. You guys get on my nerve with your ignorance. Most of you dudes don’t have a clue don’t know any thing about basketball. Trade him for what? And all you guys who call Bynum lazy name me five players in the NBA who’s lazy? Some of you guys are nothing but lazy couch potatoes who only thing you will lift is a beer to your mouth. NBA players don’t get to the NBA being lazy it take years of hard work. Any way what do a bunch of couch potatoes know about hard work.

    • proemb

Yes ofcourse rondo, everybody around the world is aware about the excellent work ethic that most NBA players posses.
-This is why most NBA coaches spend most of their time trying to motivate their players to “play hard”.
-This is why people make comments like: “If they play hard today, they should win.” We all know that the vast majority of these guys don’t cruise and try to look “cool” why playing a game that pays them millions of dollars per averaged point made.
-Why are people so shocked that Rick Adelman’s Rockets play so hard? Isn’t this the norm in the NBA?
-Instead of listing the endless list of lazy NBA players, why don’t I give you five who are not:
      Kobe Bryant
      Brandon Roy
      Chris Paul
      Kevin Garnett
      Shane Battier

  • T-Dub

Bynum didn’t get to the league from hard work. It’s because he’s 7 feet tall! He played no AAU ball, only 2 years of high school, no college. What Hard work? He had a few skills in draft camp and he was 7 feet tall. That’s why he’s in the NBA. If he went to college, it probably would have hurt his stock because he would have found out sooner.

  • rondo

You guys still have not answerd my question stop skipping around my question. Name me 5 guys who you think are lazy players? You fellows have a bad habit of watching player salaries calling players lazy because they don’t measure up to what you losers think they should be. When you call a athlete lazy i wonder how many of you guys ever played basketball or any kind of sports. Most people who have any kind of skills sports wise never label athletes lazy. I really think you guys target certain players who you, not the owners think is not earning their salary. I know they are glad you ar not paying them because they would be in trouble. That why you don’t own the Lakers. Also T Dub get a clue what the hell are you talking about?
