That debut is looking sweeter and sweeter everyday.

L.A. Times: The Lakers center, who hasn’t played this season but hopes to in about two weeks, participates in a five-on-five, full-court scrimmage for the first time and experiences nothing more serious than fatigue, according to Coach Phil Jackson.

“He said he was tired, which is natural,” Jackson said. “That’s going to happen.”

Bynum, who didn’t talk to the media after practice, has said he’d like to be ready to play around Dec. 19 at Toronto, which would be the last of a six-game Lakers trip.

I bet out of all of us Gasol was probably the most relieved to hear this news. Lol

    • gus26

or maybe it was odom… he is playing hurt too… you just don’t hear about it… his foot is pretty bad

  • http://www.jackyang.info Jack

lol. Lakers should try to dominant teams early so that the starts only have to play 30 minutes a game =P.

    • gus26

they should play teams real hard… and not come out and put a half ass effort and then try to turn it on in the last 8 mins… like they did durring the 4 losses..

  • KobeGOAT

It does say down further in the article that Bynum “felt a twinge of pain”…

Seems like Bynum will never be 100% in his career, but hopefully he’s learning how to play with injury.

    • gus26

YEAH!!… whats up with the “twinge”?!… i don’t like hearing that… its been almost 6 months since the surgery… it should just be getting stronger and stronger the “twinges and tweaks” should have been felt right after surgery…

What a waste…spending almost 18 mil. on this easily breakable moron! He might help a little, but he will be eventually total waste…messing up fakers financial situation.

  • 17 mil. dolor glass freak

I totally agree with fakers forever. Bynum is a total waste. Lakers can not even trade this guy…we are stuck with this for a long time…

    • J Raw

Since when does Bynum make anywhere near 17 Million Dollars??? Not even in the last year of his contract does he make anywhere near that!

      Get it together

    .
Bynum hasn’t got time for the pain
    .

  • laker warrior

Bynum may surprise everyone. Laker brass did not win a championship for being stupid.
They are not going to rush him back. They realize even as a 2 seat in the playoffs they still are a favorite to win.

  • Ruin818

I really dont care for any updates at this point… Bynum always has pain and gives his own timeline… I’ll believe he’s ready when he’s on the court come game time and he’s ready to go… Dont know why Bynum hasnt realized that he needs to take his work out habbits way more seriously, maybe take a page out of D-Howard’s book and make it your # 1 priority given that its his main source of income and that he is getting paid to play, not to rehab. Howard has only missed 5 games since he came into the league… Im sure Bynum will catch on.

  • QUEEN LEYAWN LAMES

ONCE AGAIN! BYNUM WAS NOT INJURED ON NORMAL BASKETBALL PLAYS HE WAS INJURED WHEN LAMAR GOT UNDER HIS FEET AND 235 LBS OF KOBE FELL ON HIM! HE’S NOT GREG “MR. GLASS” ODEN! THIS LATEST INJURY THEY SAW ON SCANS DURING HIS PREVIOUS INJURIES AND WAS LIKELY CAUSED DURING ONE OF THE PREVIOUS ONES!
WHO HAS BEATEN THE LAKERS WHEN BYNUM HAS PLAYED IN THE PLAYOFFS? NOBODY! NO ONE! NADA! DESPITE DcOCk RIVERS CONSTANTLY WHINING LIKE A BEYATCH , THE CELTICS HAVE NEVER BEATEN THE LAKERS A FULL STRENGTH EITHER!
EVERY PLAYER LIKELY HAS A TWINGE OF PAIN DURING THE SEASON! THEY CAN PLAY HURT! THEY JUST CAN’T PLAY INJURED!

Idiots most of bynums injuries were freak accidents, someone falling on his knee. Retards

    • Slick Vic

Exactly, soo many fucking band wagon “Laker” Fans clowning on Bynum. His injuries were not his fault.

      • J Raw

“His injuries were not his fault”……….huh?

on-court injuries are rarely anyones fault.

Name 5 on-court injuries this year that were a players “fault”

truly a foolish statement. Think about it.

        • 242LakerFan

What it means is that they were injuries caused by contact with someone else, not due to some frailty on Drew’s part, unlike Oden, who just needs to land hard to snap something. The point is it’s unfair to call him “frail” or “injury prone” because most of his injuries have happened in a way that would have hurt anybody.

          • J Raw

Anybody? Druw’s a beast…….when healthy, but lets face it he has missed almost 140 games. He has missed more than 1 out of every 4 games the Lakers have played. He is frail. Hopefully he is able to stay healthy and play well enough that the Lakers choose to pick up his team option and sign him to another contract. If he misses 1 out of every 4 games the next 2 years he will not be in a Laker uni.

Run all the fools off the Lakers board!
