Bulls looking to trade Hinrich, but Lakers are looking to reduce payroll?

We know the Lakers have stated no “dramatic” changes need to be made, but it will be interesting to see if the Lakers pursue Hinrich; though doing so would go against their intentions of reducing payroll.

ESPN: Harder to read are the Lakers’ true intentions. They’re frequently mentioned as a prime suitor for Hinrich, but there are also regular rumblings that L.A.’s primary goal at the deadline is reducing payroll by persisting with recent attempts to move Sasha Vujacic or Luke Walton. Hinrich has two seasons and $17 million left on his contract after this season.

I say keep the core, we can ship out Sasha, Ammo and if needed Luke… But only if needed…

Hinrich will be a good addition to the Lake Show if we could grab him… Totally agree that Kobe needs rest too… Too bad he doesn’t listen to us… Hehehe

How is it possible to trade Luke? Like really man. Logically, how is it possible. Can some body make sense of it to me. The contract numbers go up season by season for the next 3 season correct? Or is it four.

Lakers are losing to the Nuggets right now. Denver guards are killing us. We need a trade for defensive pg.

played denver twice blown out twice….played clevland twice lost twice…i know we need a trade..but would that be enough,i mean we’re not in the same league as these teams this far..we’re getting beat out right.these teams are much improved.so hinrich wouldn’t have helped that much.their point guard killed us in all theses losses.i know we need a point guard.but we need one with the whole package.score,pass,defence,drive.harris wouldn’t be that either.to repeat we’re gonna need a bigger caliber of trade.like hinrich and noah for some toughness,we could give morrison, sasha, josh.maybe not that bulls trade but maybe another team..but that type combo.cause we need that “very good”guard and some strenth in the middle.we are weak.and we cant answer that.so noah would provide strength rebound, energy is key!!!we dont have that either!so,energy!but any way that’s what i see.we need a point guard full of fire.and a big guy with energy an strength.cause kobe always provides our confidence.shannon an lamar are pulling their weight.pau and drew are finesse.they need back up!fish is good but can’t put in enough minutes farmar aint too bad.if we could just add that guard an get that big energy guy! i would beleave we would be prepared then.but if we cant get that.i dont beleave we can repeat.we’ll see…….. go lakers!!!

Guys I think they should trade drew I love the guy but he has no defense and no heart. He wants the ball but play D trust me Kobe will pass it. How is it that hard just protect the paint! Fish Is old but I don’t see any hard fouls givin out at all. If u foul them hard when they penetrate trust me they won’t come back down there much. But Sasha needs to go I think they need a player like flip Murray of the bobcats I mean the guy knows how to score he shows up every game I ever saw him in and I think he is a good veteran and leader of a bench. Sasha can only do one thing 3pt but flip can create his own shot.

Well, what the lakers need to do is get a really good small forward who can play defense and perhaps a little offense. It is very obvious that Ron Artest can not guard the small forwards like lebron james, carmelo anthony or paul pierce. Even though he is strong and tough, he isn’t quick enough to keep up. If they could get Artest some help such as james posey or trading sasha, luke, and maybe morrison for trevor ariza. i think our point guards are fine. kirk would not help us right now
