Here is a small injury update on Bryant and Bynum…

L.A. Times: The Lakers listed Bryant as questionable for Monday night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs at Staples Center and Bynum as “more doubtful.”

They could use the rest. Rest from now til the end of All Star break should be enough for them.
Time for the Lakers to show what they can do without Kobe.

      agreed.
Knowing kobe, he’ll definitely participate in the all star game in what, hopefully, will be a reduced role.
pau has been asking for some rest as well.
we’re getting old but we’re no boston celtics.
we need to crank it up a notch after the break if our overall health allows it.

      3PEAT ON THE WAY.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED SATURDAY NIGHT? WHERE WAS KOBE? NOT PLAYING…DUMB STATEMENT.

  • rondo

Yes they can, they seem to play better as a team.

seems strange the kobe is sitting out league games but will play in the allstar game?….really?

    • Green Flannel

SEEMS STRANGE HOW THE ALL-STAR GAME HASN’T HAPPENED YET YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. TELL ME, WHO WON, AND WHILE YOUR AT IT, WHO WINS THE SCORING TITLE THIS YEAR?
      …REALLY?

think about it, fans pay to see their favorite players at the all-star game. This is their job, duh!

Let them both sit out. They need to rest. Forget the best record in the league. If we’re best in the west, then, that’s enough.

yup thats true who cares about the cavs they dont even make it to the finals

Prayer goes out for Kobe and Bynum not to play. Please, Kobe, do not dress for the game. The team played great without an injured you. The team moved the ball without you. The team did not default to you to take the last second shot. Everyone touched the ball Saturday night. I like what I saw in Brown, Farmar, Artest, and even Luke and Sasha. Give your teamates some opportunity, and I believe they want to shine in your absence.
