Kobe Bryant got tangled up with Lamar Odom near the end of the 2nd half. We’ll keep an eye on it.

Twitter: Kobe is wearing a black wrap around his left calf/ankle that he didn’t have on in the 1st half.

I’m just waiting for the moment where Kobe’s body can’t take it anymore.

    • myriamkb24

what pleasure can u get from saying that. when will u learn to appreciate KOBE”s hardwork for ur team. better not talk if u don’t have something nice to say. the least u can do is repect him that’s all.

      • What?

Alright, you need to shut up. First of all, I don’t get pleasure from saying these things, it wasn’t a jab against Kobe it was sarcasm.. The dude has been playing through injuries non stop. And no shit Sherlock, I know what he contributes to the Lakers, everyone here does. Why don’t you think before you say something first. Be on Kobe’s nuts all you want “Kobe fan from Asia”, that still doesn’t hide the fact that you’re an idiot.

at least he did good tonight…maybe next game hes gone again in the wind cos KK is gonna give some BJ….

  • Sasha4Lvp

come on kobe! enough is enough! Sit out a few games! we need a healthy kobe come playoff time to even have a chance at repeating. we dont need homecourt to repeat so why are you trying to play every REGULAR season game despite being injured?! If you are serious about repeating than you need to sit out for a little while. the team is good enough to hold down the fort for a while.

    • lakerman1

Never going to happen. Just enjoy him playing while you can.

  • berkyberks

how i wish kobe to opt-out so this so called laker fans know are they looking for…I’m with kobe till he ends his career in turmoil…

Wow, now this is getting comical. That dude is starting to break down. Ok, first let me say that Kobe’s tough as nails, and that is certainly admirable. He’s no doubt the toughest player in the game, when it comes to playing with injuries. But this is what happens to older players. Every little thing can cause a minor injury. Then, before you know it, you’ve accumulated a bunch of them and they all work together to slow you down. It’s happening to Manu and Tony Parker right now. They used to bounce right up after a crash. So did Kobe. That’s what LeBron and D Howard do now too. They take some of the hardest hits in the game, but they’re hardly injured cuz they’re so young, and don’t have a lot of miles on their bodies. But for old guys like Kobe, any time they get hit there’s an injury. And I say old because he’s an OLD 31…lots of miles on those legs. Anyway, my point is, if he’s not careful, this is how it’s going to be until the end of his career. We’re gonna have to expect him to accumulate injuries. Hopefully he starts to realize that rest isn’t such a bad idea sometimes.

And on a side note, even with all of these injuries, and an expected run to the finals this year, he wants to play at the Worlds for team USA this summer (and Pau wants to play for Spain). WTF?!?!?!

  • gugy

Well, I wish Kobe sit few games and get better.
But nobody more than him knows his body better. That said, if he feels he is OK to play then let it be.

Two things can happen, He will either be fine when playoff comes or he will break down for good. Whatever happens will be his fault and he will take responsibility for it.

Hopefully for us fans, he will be OK.

I Agree that Kobe should sit his ass down for about 8 games to rest but more importantly so that the other guys can learn how to win without him. What if these so called small injuries turn into big ugly injuries?! Wtf are the other guys going 2 do without him so late in the sesaon..That’s why its good that he rest his body and let the team build their confidence and chemistry without him.

  • drive-for-16th

next game i want to see kobe on the bench, i want the team to fukin learn to win without him.

  • drive-for-16th

this is a perfect time for the bigs to gain some respect cause they want so many touches.

  • jake90000

Fridays game should be a sign for Kobe; MELO is sitting out with an ANKLE injury and hes younger. KObe u should SIT out and rest ur damn ankle, dont be so damn stubborn. Y play just for the sake of playing when ull play like crap. Come on kobe do it for your own good, u cant ignore wut ur body is saying….

  • Zach

A healthy Kobe is more important than the 1 seed. We don’t need HC to beat a Cleveland or Orlando
