It seems Steve Blake is out due to the Chicken Pox as reported:
The team announced later Tuesday afternoon that Blake has chicken pox and would not play Tuesday; beyond that, he is out indefinitely.
The Lakers have two games left in the regular season. Tuesday night against the Spurs, and Wednesday vs. the Kings.
In 79 games this season, Blake is averaging 20 minutes per game. Blake’s averages 4 points, 2.2 assist, and shoots 38% from three point range per game.
UPDATE: According to Mike Bresnahan, from the LA times, there is a scary thought. Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum, and Ron Artest have not had the chicken pox. So Blake will need to stay away from those three to ensure the Lakers don’t lose one of them during the first round of the playoffs.
