The 2009-10 season for the Los Angeles Lakers has been an up-and-down roller-coaster. At certain points the Lakers will play at a sub-par level, while at other times they look as though they cannot be beaten...


Kobe Bryant is obviously the MVP of the Lakers and is arguably the best player in the NBA. His been carrying the Lakers in the past few games, by either taking up the scoring load or assuring the Lakers a victory. However, who is the Lakers next MVP, which player is needed for every game?


The men wearing Purple and Gold have had some amazing jaw-dropping performances, but they also had occasions were their lack of effort left fans irate.


It is hard to believe how much the “top seed” Los Angeles Lakers can miss playing in Staples Center. I understand the Oklahoma City Thunder can play extremely well at home, but I never realized how badly they can beat the Lakers, especially during an NBA Playoff game.


Entering the playoffs versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Los Angeles Lakers were struggling and were about to face a run-and-gun Thunder team. Some people actually doubted the Lakers in the series, even though the season series was won by the Lakers.


For all NBA fans, this time of the year is full of excitement and dramatic finishes. For some teams, making it to mid- April is an accomplishment but of the Lakers, it is a championship or bust.


Is effort and a desire to succeed the way to win games? For an answer just ask the Lakers... the 2008-'09 Lakers. As the 2010 NBA Playoffs approach the Lakers are struggling and unfortunately no Laker fan can hide the fact that the team’s performance is troublesome, to the point where their repeat chances are looking slim.


O, what can happen outside the great city of Los Angeles. The Lakers found themselves away from Staples Center for five games and...


Midway into the five game road trip, the Lakers have a record of 2-1, and have two more games on Monday and Wednesday...
