The fan experience is a unique one. None of us play for the teams that we cheer for, but we take the losses just as hard the players we devote ourselves to do. Very few of us make any money off of our love for a team, but we'll gladly spend thousands of dollars in our attempts to support one.


Rest was supposed to be the answer. Kobe just had dead legs, nothing that a little time off couldn't cure. He was supposed to play Sunday -- against a marquee match up in Brandon Roy -- and dominate like we are used to seeing 'The Black Mamba' do. Nope...


The NBA season is a long arduous marathon, and perhaps the Lakers recent run of poor play is just another blip on the radar. True they broke their three game skid, but it took yet another Kobe game winner to pull it out...


Last Saturday, before we played Portland in 'Rip City' I read that Kobe was a no go...


This is disturbing: .39, .33, .38, and .19. That's Kobe's shooting percentages in his last four games. Being just fans -- without inside info on how much this is really affecting Kobe -- we can only speculate, but it appears that recently, it's affecting him a lot...


The Christmas Day game is just days away, I thought it would be appropriate to write about 12 things that we of the Lakers Nation may be wishing for, or maybe just 12 things we can be thankful for during the holiday season...


It pretty much goes without saying that Kobe Bryant is numero uno with Laker fans.


So here we are nine games into the season and let's face it: the games have been a little closer than we would probably like.


Anyway, a week into the season and we can now safely answer some of our more persistent questions...



With the Lakers off to a poor start, trade rumors have begun to swirl around Kobe Bryant, leading many to speculate if he'll leave for greener pastures. Kobe puts those rumors to rest in his interview with Yahoo Sports.
