The Lakers were down big in the second half, but had an incredible run sparked by great defense and carelessness on Dallas's end. The Lakers outscored the Mavs by 14 points in the second half to come away with a 114-107 victory Friday night.


It seems like ever since that second half meltdown against the Hornets, the Lakers have dominated teams in the second half. Tonight was just another example. The Lakers looked decent through the first 30 minutes of the game, but blew it open midway through the third.


While fans didn't get Tacos tonight, they did get another W. Nine Lakers entered the game tonight -- eight of them scored double figures. That is what I call balance!


The Lakers continue to embarrass playoff teams of 2008 with their elite defense and great ball movement. Tonight, the victims were the Nuggets, who were held to only 90 points (FREE TACOS!) on under 43% shooting. The Lakers had 12 steals and 9 blocks.


The Lakers put on another show tonight. The show started with defense as the Lakers held the high-scoring Suns to only 92 points on the road.


Instead of a sluggish start and a strong finish, the Lakers decided to melt down in the fourth and get saved by a miraculous Kobe three pointer.

Tonight in Denver, the Lakers played a bit sluggishly, but forced enough turnovers and grabbed enough boards to win the game.


The Lakers took care of the young Blazers pretty easily tonight with a 96-76 win at Home.


This was an entertaining Friday night game as they closed out the preseason like I hope they pull off Tuesday night vs Portland -- only with Kobe in the lineup.
