Tonight's game was infinitely better than the past few for L.A.. The Lakers played with a lot more energy and hit the open looks. It all started with defense and that led to many easy transition baskets.

What a terrible weekend for me. Two Laker losses and USC getting embarrassed at home.

This was just a dismal performance by the Lakers in the second half. I don't think I have ever seen this team look so flat, tired, and flat out bad.

The Lakers continued to play great basketball Thursday night at Staples. Everyone played great on both ends of the court and the Suns just didn't look like they belonged in the same building as the Lakers.

The Lakers won their fifth straight easily Sunday night at Staples Center. This one was a blowout from the beginning as New Orleans...

The Lakers won their second game of the short road trip, another game down to the wire that ended up with a win in...

The Lakers improved to 3-1 on the new season despite some poor play against the young and energetic Thunder Tuesday night. It took 53 minutes and a great second half from Kobe for the Lakers to put this one in the books.

This was a much better effort from the Lakers. It was great to see them take the ball to the hoop, finish their layups, and show energy. It was night and day from Friday's disaster of a game vs. Dallas.

Not quite what I expected tonight from the Lakers. Mainly with D.J.'s block party and Lamar's three point shooting, the Lakers took care...

Another preseason game in the books for the Lakers. This one didn't look bad at all offensively, as the Lakers had a well-balanced attack. Defensively, the Lakers still have work to do.

After a long summer, the night finally arrived -- Ron Artest in a Lakers uniform. In his first game as a Laker, the Lakers took care of business defeating the Warriors in a meaningless game at the Honda Center.

Back from the dead! Just when it looked as if the Magic were going to tie this series up, the Lakers struck back!

The Lakers blew a chance to all but lock in another title tonight with their four point loss in Orlando Tuesday night.

The Lakers hung on Sunday night to take a commanding 2-0 series lead to come another step closer to their first title in seven years!

With the Lakers off to a poor start, trade rumors have begun to swirl around Kobe Bryant, leading many to speculate if he'll leave for greener pastures. Kobe puts those rumors to rest in his interview with Yahoo Sports.
