“GetGarnett.com will undergo some “additions” very soon.
The past week or so many have speculated on the name change. Truth is, for now, it will remain the same but it will have a different meaning: “Get Garnett.” By keeping the name it will constantly remind us all why we are here. “Get Garnett” is a constant reminder that all of us want to see the Lakers become a championship caliber franchise once again.
While we keep pushing for the Lakers Front Office to get something done, we should remind Kevin Garnett and his Celtics that we’re watching.
The way we “Get Garnett” now is to prove that the Lakers and our fan base can get it done without him and follow his mistake to Boston. Time to roll-up our sleeves and climb to Beantown. Boston — You just re-started the old rivalry, and soon we will introduce to everyone the new generation of the rivalry.
All of us here at GetGarnett.com are excited to unveil the next generation of the rivalry. It’s coming soon. Stay tuned, be patient, and believe. We are the hope. We are the voice. We Are Vision Of The Fans. We plan on major changes, including a name change, but that will all come in time.
