Ariza loves L.A. And while it is a business, Trevor bleeds purple and gold.

O.C. Register: “If Trevor falls down and bruises his knee, he bleeds purple and gold,” said Ariza’s agent, David Lee said Tuesday morning.

well ink him up then. he needs to be a lil more easy on the teams pockets though.

Until Ariza resigns with the Lakers, his agent can STFU! I don’t want to HEAR how “LOYAL” he is one minute and the next how he won’t give a “HOMETOWN DISCOUNT”!

I hope that this deal does get done, cause I think that Ariza is just starting to blossom! He can do more for the Lakers in the next few years and take on more of a scoring role than he has thus far!

well i only hope he sign with us, but he better perform better next year tho, same goes for brown. You kno what to expect with odom (inconsitentcy)

would all of u honestly take millions less just to be a laker…$ has a way of changing your mind.

I love Trevor’s game but you gotta think about one thing, when you play on a team that has Kobe, Pau, Lamar and even Bynum you(Trevor)are gonna be open a lot of the time to make those open shots!! you go to some other team and you’re not going to be so open….resign with the Lakers and be a part of something really special

  • ilikebasketball

no hometown discount sounds like he bleeds green.

  • Cooltrainer_frankie

Sounds like he wants to soften the blow if and when Ariza signs with another team.

“After the season he said being a Laker was more important to him than getting paid as much as he possibly could, but his agent is saying that the team will not receive a hometown discount.”

Bynum has the same greedy agent. I’m still pissed Lakers overpaid Bynum. This dude has not proven himself and is not worth $58m/4yrs. Lakers should have waited and matched offers. I think they learned their lesson.
