Andrew Bynum’s OFFICIAL nickname: Bynumite!

Lakers Examiner: After a two-week long process that involved a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, you have decided that Andrew Bynum’s OFFICIAL nickname is… Bynumite.

I couldn’t be happier with the nickname (though my vote went to Mountain Drew). This is exactly what I was looking for when I started the contest, so I thank those of you that suggested names and voted.

The voting results were as follows…

  1. Bynumite, 40.86%
  2. Mountain Drew, 21.09%
  3. A-Bomb, 19.03%
  4. Bynusaur, 11.06%
  5. The Brute, 7.96%

As you can see, it was more of a landslide than I expected, but with close to 700 votes we got a pretty good sense of what people were thinking.
