A letter to Artest: “we’re scared of you”

88620135AB001_RON_ARTESTO.C. Register: A Lakers fan wrote an open letter to Ron Artest pleading with the newest Lakers not to muck up the season with his antics and basically telling him what to do and what not to do.

There’s a reason I am writing this open letter to both of you. It’s because we Laker fans are not sure which one of you is going to show up. And I’ll be honest: we’re scared of you.

You could single-handedly blow up this Laker championship team. Even though we won playing at about 75% of our potential last season, there are bigger fish to fry this year. Cleveland. Boston. Even San Antonio has gotten better. One tantrum, or one quote about your lack of confidence in the team could upset the balance of this Laker season.

    Later on he wrote…

Ron, and other Ron, we don’t need any more jalapeños in this chili. Add some spice, but don’t kill the flavor, please. There are millions of fans and dedicated followers that are holding their breath on your performance, not to mention the 29 other teams that are gunning for the target on the Laker’s backs this season. They will test you, they will provoke you. Do not fall victim to being, well, you.

In return, all past transgressions will be forgotten, and you will be warmly welcomed into the arms of the NBA legends.

How do you think Artest responded? On Twitter of course, saying, “By the way, The guy who wrote the letter emailed me. I cursed him out and he apologized. See , I don’t kiss (butt). Cont..

“Sometimes people write good things about me and I say (stink) ….!!! See, I don’t care if someone likes or hate me. I love my fam and fans!”

Get ready, it’s going to be a wild ride.

Someone please b*tchslap the douche bag who wrote this dumb letter. Of course hes gonna tell him to f*ck off!! Any player who was sent a letter basically telling them to stay in line or they’ll hate them would tell that person to go suck it. What a complete retard. Makes Laker raja look like a semi-smart person.

Hey, weenie man, you out there? If you’re scared of Ron Artest, on a team with the likes of Kobe and PJ around, for whom he has utmost respect, a team he WANTED to come to in the first place, then I have a suggestion.
Tuck your head back between your legs real tight and see if maybe you can cultivate a pair!

LMFAO who’s this fan? He just got a piece of the “other Ron” lololol what an idiot hahaha.

    • CocK_MEat_Sandwhich

ARTEST ALREADY TOLD EVERY LAKER FAN OUT THERE TO BLAME HIM IF THE LAKE SHOW DIDN’T REPEAT. THST GUY SENDING THAT LETTER WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MAKE HIS ASS LOOK STUPID. IF RON FUCKS UP, YOU BETTER BLIEVE HE WONT A LAKER FOR LONG. AS OF NOW, THE BEST THING TO DO IS SUPPORT THE TEAM AND JUST SIT BACK AND WATCH.

There’s a reason I am writing this open letter to both of you. It’s because we Celtic fans are not sure which one of us is going to get bitch slapped. And I’ll be honest: we’re scared of you.

      LOL! ;)

Ron, and other Ron, we don’t need any more fruits in this salad. Add some spice, but don’t break the wheelchair, please. There are dozens of fans and bandwagon followers that are holding their breath on your performance, not to mention the 29 other teams that are running from the talent on the Laker’s bench this season. They will fear you, they will plead with you. Do not fall victim to being, well, an NBA champion.

Scared of what? Believe it or not but Kobe can put Artest on check.

    • WifelovesLuke

The only fear happening this season is going to be coming from the other teams in the league. 2010 Champs!!

In my opinion, the fans who are “scared” of Ron Artest are flat out dumb. Even assuming Ron Ron is a complete drama queen mess this year, he still makes us better!

Even assuming he gets ejected from one game a month, and a couple in the playoffs, HE STILL MAKES US BETTER!!!! His intensity will be contagious, and his support for his teammates will not waver!

And besides, I don’t think he will be completely insane like he was over 5 years ago. I think he will bring that intensity, a contagious intensity, without getting ejected once a month….. but even if he does…. WE ARE STILL BETTER!!!!

      stupid fan, stupid letter.

Artest came to LA making way less than he could get anywhere else. Just one simple reason. HE wants a ring!
Same sh•t was said about Rodman and he did just fine under PJ leadership.

I am not worried at all. Lakers opponents that should be very scared. If Artest bring his intensity and will to win, Lakers D will improve immensely. This guy is such a huge improvement and he is exactly what the Lakers need. Specially when we beat the cr@p out of Celtics and KG. Watch and see.
