According to Kevin Ding of the OC Register, Howard visited the practice facility in El Segundo and had his first hands-on session with Lakers athletic trainer Gary Vitti and head physical therapist Judy Seto.

Howard had spinal surgery back in April and is expected to make a full recovery.

Whether he is ready for opening night, Oct 30 against the Dallas Mavs, is still to be determined.

However, one thing is for certain: both Laker Nation and Dwight Howard cannot wait for the time Superman can officially wear the golden armor in STAPLES.
