2nd Look: The Mamba Shake

This is one that could’ve easily slipped by a lot of people. But as I wrote a while ago, Kobe’s footwork is unparalleled and he even performed his own version of the “dreamshake” over two defenders; something he learned from Hakeem over the summer. Check out this great move by the willing-learner and future hall of famer, Kobe Bryant.

Wow, simple video saying a lot of things about Kobe. Nice compilation Chris; Hakeem, Kobe with Hakeem and then Kobe alone.

I started laughing when Kobe did this. Not in the “thats funny” way, but in the “I cant believe Kobe just did that” move. First time he surprised me in a while. Just shows that when Kobe seeks help, he doesnt do it for show like other might… wait, others dont seek help, their egos are so big they think they are good the way they are. Well, Kobe wants to get better, and he is on the course of doing so whether he wins or loses. By the way, quick note, ESPN is saying that this year might be Kobe’s best year, reason? 3 Game winners in one month, career-high FG%. Nearly tripled the amount of 40-point games he had from last season. Anyone agree?

Excuse me while I pick myself up off the floor from laughing at these comments.
      Okay, that’s better.
Who else is mentioned as leader of the Lakers, other than Kobe and Fish? In the past few years, even the most cynical of the media have acknowledged that this team has been led (very effectively, see NBA Champs 2009) by Kobe. Does anyone (other than you, of course) remember the double interview in ’08 with Kobe and LeBron in China? Why them? Because they were the acknowledged LEADERS of the Redeem Team!
      “So-called injuries”?
99% of NBA players would be in the locker room crying on the phone to their mamas if they had some of the injuries Kobe has played through.
As for losing to the Clips, I offer no excuse, but then again neither do the Celtics or anyone else they’ve beaten this year. They played a great game. We didn’t. We’ve done that all of 7 times this year. Result? Best record in the league.
Don’t like Kobe? Fine. Offer me someone better. Oh, wait, there IS no one better!
      GO LAKERS!!!
Now wipe THAT off your chin, right after you finish cleaning my jimmy.
      Bitch.

You must be sad that you don’t have a team to rep

this was a cool move. however, not really like the dream shake cuz it was with the opposite hand(non dominant hand). ima big kobe fan, but i have to say that the best player at doing this in the league is our nemesis, rajon rondo of the celtics. still, kobe showing why hes great by integrating this move into his arsenal.
